Seller FAQ
- Can I use both Marketplace and xCF at the same time?
Absolutely—most high-volume sellers do. Use marketplace intelligence and self-serve tools for your ongoing inventory, then apply for xCF broker services to grow your sales volume. They work together to maximize your total sales.
- If I am already a Marketplace subscriber, how do I add xCF?
Easy. Get in touch with us, and our team will evaluate for xCF qualification (typically within 24 hours). Once approved, we will start to actively promote your listings to buyers. Your marketplace subscription continous as usual.
- Does xCF replace Marketplace or work alongside it?
xCF works alongside Marketplace. Think of it as adding a sales team to your existing tools. You keep full access to market intelligence, and can still self-list containers. xCF just adds broker horsepower for inventory you want to move faster or don`t have bandwidth to manage.
- How do I receive payment?
We offer multiple secure payment options including Credit Card, ACH direct deposit, wire transfer, and check. After a sale, you get the money instantly credited into your xChange account, ready for payout.
- What if a buyer disputes the container condition?
We mediate all disputes. If a container was accurately described and documented, the sale stands. If there was a misrepresentation, we work with both parties for a fair resolution, which may include price adjustment, replacement or sale cancellation.
- Do I need to be present at the depot for pickup?
No. We coordinate all release procedures with the depot and buyer. The depot handles the physical release using our provided documentation. You stay updated on pickup status through the platform.
- Can I set my own prices on the Marketplace?
Yes, you have full control over your pricing on Marketplace listings. We provide market intelligence and recommendations, but the final pricing decision is yours. For xCF, our team uses market data to reccommend pricing for fastest sale at best price.
- What happens if my container doesn't sell?
There are no penalties or fees for unsold containers. You can adjust pricing, update listings, switch to xCF for more aggressive promotion, or remove the listing entirely. Our team can provide recommendations based on market conditions.
- How many containers do I need to qualify for xCF?
While xCF is designed for sellers with >100+ sold container per month or bulk liquidation needs, we evaluate each case individually. If you have high-quality inventory or time-sensitive needs, contact us to discuss xCF eligibility.
